As the year wraps up and the holiday season approaches, many people make charitable contributions to organizations and causes they support. Doing so can help you join in the spirit of giving that comes with this time of the year—and there are also some great perks when it comes to reducing your tax obligations come April 15.
In addition to the typical 501(c)3 organizations, you can also make tax-deductible donations to schools, school districts and educational foundations. For example, if you'd like to give to Menasha schools, you may do so through the Menasha Education Fund. The foundation uses donated funds to provide scholarships and various other educational opportunities to the students in our community.
The Menasha Education Fund enjoys the support of numerous alumni, business leaders, parents and other community members. Contributions make a big difference toward providing students with meaningful educational experiences.
Many ways to give
A monetary donation is far from the only way you can support the Menasha Joint School District's schools and students. We could always use more volunteers, and many of our past graduates now serve as fantastic mentors to current students who are working their way to graduation themselves.
The success of Menasha's schools is due largely to the support we receive from our alumni and other members of our school district community. We sincerely thank you for your support as we provide the educational opportunities our students need to learn and thrive well into the future.
If you have any questions about how you can make a donation or volunteer in Menasha schools, please do not hesitate to contact us.
