Menasha Schools Remain Steadfast in Seeking Continuous Improvement

For countless reasons, the Menasha Joint School District is a special place. While our district is like many others in the state in terms of the challenges we face, there are so many points of pride that we can celebrate as we move into a New Year.

For example, on the 2016-2017 school report card from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, the district overall received a score of "exceeds expectations." Meanwhile, two of our elementary schools—Butte des Morts and Clovis Grove—were rated as "significantly exceeds expectations."

We also have among the best K-12 world languages programs in Wisconsin, including the innovative bilingual "school within a school."

Staying on the leading edge

While we have so much to be proud of here in Menasha, it's also important that we never rest on our laurels. We must remain committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that all our students receive the opportunities they need to find success in college and their future careers.

With that in mind, the district is intently focused on our "Every Student, Every Classroom, Every Day" initiative. We recognize that each student has a unique set of skills and talents—and it's through personalized learning experiences that they can truly identify and cultivate those talents.

We are also committed to incorporating technology into the learning environment as much as possible. This, too, provides a more personalized learning experience and reflects just how important technology has become in our daily lives. Perhaps more importantly, it also gives students opportunities to prepare themselves for potential careers in a technology-driven professional world.

As we continue to prepare our students for the ever-changing 21st century, we would like to thank our alumni and supporters for your input and guidance. Together, we will help ensure the Menasha Joint School District remains one of the best in Wisconsin well into the future.

Go Bluejays!
